For this week’s video review, we visited a brand new spot in Scottsdale called 6 Degrees Urban Kitchen. Located on the east side of Scottsdale Road just south of Doubletree Ranch Road. The name of the restaurant is based on the theory that all living things are six or fewer steps away from each other. Husband and wife owners, Gordon and Ruthie, are longtime residents of Scottsdale. Yet, wherever they go – whether here in Scottsdale or while traveling – and whatever they do, they ALWAYS meet people they have something in common with. So their goal with 6 Degrees Urban Kitchen was to create a restaurant that is not only a place to “grab a delicious meal but a hub for the community to come together.”
Upon entering 6 Degrees Urban Kitchen you will notice the relaxed and welcoming vibe the restaurant presents. You will also notice the giant trophy up front that they recently won at the Arizona Taco Festival. As you can see, they may be new, but they are already making a great name for themselves. From the original decor (make sure to scope the mural on the back wall) to the unique food and cocktail menu you will be impressed.

In the video review, we did a complete trust fall and let 6 Degrees take us on a journey. We sampled some of their more unique dishes and cocktails as well as a couple of their award-winning tacos. Their menu has a little something for everyone. Lastly, we dove into a dessert so wild and delicious that if you don’t order it when you visit we can’t be friends anymore.
We hope that you enjoy the video review and visit 6 Degrees Urban Kitchen for yourself for some great food and an awesome atmosphere! Comment below your favorite menu item that we tried for a chance to win a gift card.
