Apache Creek opened in November 1994 in Apache Junction, at the foot of the Superstition Mountains. It’s a turf-style desert course, and desert transition areas frame the fairways, so accuracy off the tee matters.
The greens run small to medium and can be tricky. There are two practice putting greens plus a chipping and pitching green with a bunker.
