During the kerfuffle a little bit ago regarding the infamous Starbucks red cup. One pivotal and important detail seemed to get pushed to the waste side and forgotten. Well, besides the fact that people were losing their absolute minds over a freaking red cup. That was abundantly clear. No, what got pushed to the waste side is that it is Pumpkin Season. Right here, right now. So, whatever your stance was on the cup, you can darn well guarantee that if I handed you a nice Pumpkin Spice Latte you would drink it with quickness. I bet you wouldn’t even care or notice if the cup it was in was red, green, white, yellow or blue. It’s just a cup, but what’s inside it, is heaven. So while we all may have a different opinion on the red cup, we can all agree that we love Pumpkin Season.
The best part, nowadays Pumpkin Season extends way past Starbucks and the Pumpkin Spice Latte. Pumpkin fever has made its glorious way into beer, pudding, , brats, cheesecake, ravioli, margaritas and pancakes. So we are here today to tell you about a few spots where you can fulfill you Pumpkin Season craving without subjecting yourself to the infamous red cup.

Brat Haus

Pumpkin Season Item: You wonder what delicious brat has Brat Haus created for the season? The answer is the Mayflower, made with pumpkin-spiced pork and turkey, fall spices, brown sugar, vanilla, allspice, and pumpkin butternut squash, topped with all of the Thanksgiving fixings.

The Mission

Pumpkin Season Item: The Mission is known for great food and a huge selection of tequila and their unforgettable margaritas. But this time of year, it is all about the Pumpkin Bread Pudding with scotch, pepitas & pomegranate.

SOL Mexican Cocina

Pumpkin Season Item: Speaking of margaritas, how about the Pumpkin Spice Margarita from SOL Mexican Cocina? Per their website, it was created by mixologist Colin Pflugradt and is a refreshing, not-too-sweet, a-little-spicy cocktail made with Don Julio Tequila Blanco, agave nectar, fresh lime juice, roasted pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon. Pane E Vino

Pumpkin Season Item: As you know, we love Pane E Vino, so much that we reviewed their main menu and then reviewed their happy hour menu. One thing of note that we have to tell you about is the Ravioli Di Zucca. Which is a Japanese pumpkin ravioli, walnut & gorgonzola cream sauce. Delicious.
