For this week’s video review, we have a treat for you. We went to Citizen Public House in Old Town Scottsdale. Located on the southwest corner of 5th Ave and Craftsman Court. Citizen Public House or CPH as the cool kids and lazy people call it is a staple, a culinary delight, and a must visit restaurant in Scottsdale. Described as an upscale gastropub turning out creative New American recipes complemented by craft beers & cocktails. We talked about great Scottsdale restaurant atmospheres the other day, and Citizen Public House would be on that list and every other list about awesome restaurants. Therefore, a great ambiance, phenomenal service (shout out to Jordyn, ask for her when you go in, she is awesome!), and creative food & drink offerings are what you can expect from Citizen Public House.
Furthermore, if you are looking for a spot to have an engagement dinner or just need some space for a larger party. Not to worry, they got you with their upstairs private dining area with room for 35 seated and 50 standing. So intimate date night or large celebration, CPH has you covered!
In our video review, we ventured toward another voluntary food coma and of course you know it started with The Original Chopped Salad. But not before some Noble Bread and Grilled Octopus. First of all, the Grilled Octopus was out of this world good. Like stop the video review, how are we going to top this unique, delicious, your taste buds will think you good. For our main courses, we tried the Duck Burger, Pan Seared Scallops and the Grilled Filet Mignon. Wowza! The food blew our minds but the drinks, well, the drinks relaxed, calmed and romanticized our minds. Highly recommend the Jalisco Shandy and the Mezcacillin. Then we topped all of that off with a Peanut Butter Push Pop! I know right?
We hope you like the video review, try Citizen Public House for yourself and be sure to tell them that we sent you.
