What we say: Located on Doubletree just off of Scottsdale Road. Italian Master Chef Matteo treats each pizza like a piece of art. He combines slow levitation method, homemade dough, all-natural ingredients, and the blast-cooking process of our wood-burning oven, to lock in flavors, natural aroma and moisture for each pizza. You cannot go wrong with anything you order. Fact.
Defalco’s Italian Eatery

Excellent sandwiches, best Italian store in Scottsdale!” – Amanda Aliano, “We had the cannoli, Philly cheesesteak, and chicken parmesan and everything was yummy. I love this place.” – Trudy L, “Great staff and excellent food. I recommend always calling it in though.” – Jed Elliott
What we say: Located in South Scottsdale just south of Thomas, this hidden gem is not so hidden as you can see it from Scottsdale Road. However, the old school grocery store set up makes you feel as though you have transported yourself back in time. Highly recommend Chicken Cheesesteak or the Italian Combo.

Also, the owner came by and was very helpful with choosing the right wine for us. Definitely recommended this place!” – Ann R, “This was one of the best experiences I have had. Everything was excellent, excellent and excellent.” – TJ Rea
What we say: Located in the heart of Scottsdale just off of Scottsdale Road on Thunderbird. This Italian ristorante specializes in “Nouvelle Italian Cuisine” which focuses on fresh ingredients, no preservatives and more vegetables, a very healthy style of Italian cuisine. We recommend appetizer; Salmone Mostarde followed by the Pollo Parmese.
Andreoli Italian Grocer

The food is wonderful, and the environment is like turning back the clock.” – Ryan Salamone, “This has some of the best Italian Food in the Valley!” – Curtis LaMalfa, “Italian food, cooked and served by Italians with Italian ingredients. What else do you want?” – Philippos Savvides

The Caesar salad is unbelievable with to die for croutons.” – Bob Longworth
What we say: Located off of Shea and Scottsdale Roads. This hidden gem is small and tucked away but what they lack in size they make up for in amazing pizza. This place is a must visit.
Special mentions for North Scottsdale hidden gem – Pane E Vino, and a not so hidden gem but still absolutely delicious Kierland restaurant – North Italia.
