For this week’s video review, we visited The Montauk in Old Town Scottsdale. Located on the west side of Scottsdale Road just south of Stetson. The Montauk’s interior takes its inspiration from houses in the town from which it gets its name. With white-washed and laid back interior you will feel as though you have transported from Old Town Scottsdale all the way to a Long Island beach house.
Then the food, wow! They have recently added Chef Scott Robuck to the mix and if our video review is any indication, that was a sagacious choice. In the video review, we sampled Tuna Tartare Guac, Crispy Chicken Wings & Burrata off the appetizer menu and we were blown away. Picking a favorite would be like picking a favorite child. Kidding, it was the Crispy Chicken Wings. It’s always the middle child!
To cleanse our pallet, we dove into a couple of their specialty cocktails and again, they were on point. Highly recommend trying the Pimms Cup, Master Monk & Trade Secret. From there it was onto the entrees. A couple that we tried were the Cauliflower Fried Rice (unique and amazing), Lobster Roll (they are playing zero games with the roll), & Fish Tacos. Let’s just say that they have a thing called Taco Monday, and we will be back to enjoy more than one of the Fish Tacos. We topped it off with a piece of White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake and we were on our way, very very happy.
We hope that you enjoy the video review and be sure to pop over to The Montauk to try it for yourself.

  1. The Lobster roll looks amazing!! And their Happy Hour has some yummy looking stuff!!!!

  2. Lobster roll looks killer. Hard to find a good roll here in the desert. Asian inspired wings looks to be just as good. Every body does wings but not everybody does em right.
