This video is a little bit of a throwback video. Since it is a hundred and fifty degrees outside we thought we would briefly bring you back to a time in Scottsdale when the weather was nice. You could go outside without melting like a snow cone in an oven. That is a saying right? We are taking you back to April when the ScottsdaleRestaurants.com crew (minus Miguel) visited the Scottsdale Culinary Festival, and we brought a camera. Yes, you read that correctly. Miguel let Chris and I loose with a camera, on our own. We told you that Miguel was a wildcard. So that is the reason that the video may be shaky at times and not up to the kind of level that you are used to when Miguel is at the helm. But for what Chris and I lack in cinemaphotography skills, we make up for in our ability to have a great time.
As you can see from the video, we ate, we drank and we had a freaking blast. If you have not experienced the Scottsdale Culinary Festival, definitely add it to your calendar to visit next year. As I said, you can eat, drink and socialize. But the best part is that you are doing all of that for a great cause. Per their website: “The festival is the primary fundraiser for the Scottsdale League for the Arts, whose members and staff work all year to present the festival. The League’s mission is to support artists, art programs, and arts education through fundraising and special events. Since 2002, the League has donated over $4 million to arts organizations in Arizona. When you attend a festival event or volunteer, you are supporting the arts and culinary scene in the Valley of the Sun – thank you!”
I don’t know about you, but that seems like a pretty good reason to venture out to eat and drink. So take a break from the sweltering heat for a minute and scope out the video.
