For this week’s video review, we visited a brand new spot in Scottsdale named Sonata’s Restaurant. Located just south of Shea Boulevard & Scottsdale Road off of Gold Dust Avenue. Sonata’s Restaurant is a unique and welcome addition to Scottsdale. They specialize in Eastern European fare with a local twist. Utilizing their “food is life” philosophy, and the restaurant development team’s Lithuanian heritage and Executive Chef Josh Bracher’s expertise to craft an ever-changing and impressive food menu. We are talking homemade pierogis, chicken kiev, and pork belly confit. Yes, yes, and yes! Sonata’s Restaurant also hosts an impressive craft cocktail, fresh-pressed juice & beer menu. In fact, they have certain beers on the menu that you can’t get anywhere else in the state of Arizona. Told you this spot was unique.

The atmosphere is quite impressive as well. Sonata’s Restaurant is home to a stylish indoor dining room complete with live music, bar, and a dance floor. Or step outside to find and equally stylish & spacious patio & bar.
In the video review, we enjoyed a couple of those exclusive beers in awesomely unique beer mugs. From there we sampled some of their finest Eastern European appetizers and entrées. You will have to watch the video review to get the full effect. But a quick teaser – they lit Chris’ dish on fire, Miguel’s was almost 2 feet long, and I had a half of a duck! Please enjoy the Sonata’s Restaurant video review and then make sure to go and see them for yourself.
