Well f*#k. We had a good run, May was kind to us but as I sit here writing this here sentence it is a brisk 103 degrees outside. Native Arizonians will say “but, it’s a dry heat.” I don’t disagree that it is, in fact, dry. However, that dry heat is still hot af and feels like someone is just following you around with a hot blow dryer. Not good times. Of course, we may get blessed with a sub 100 day from time to time but mainly it’s butt outside. You know what I mean. As such, we know that you, like us, are looking for some good reasons to venture out of the air-conditioned house. Then into an air-conditioned car. Then into some sort of air-conditioned establishment for a meal and a nice cold beverage. But where to go? We know that we aren’t venturing out for just any restaurant during the hot summer months, no, it has to be special. Here is a list of some options we recommend that are worth venturing out. Enjoy and stay cool (fist pound emoji).
7018 E Main St, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
Why should you venture out: You already know that The Beverly has one of the best liquor selections in Scottsdale. But their food menu is very underrated and worth a try. Stop by this Old Town haunt and stay awhile to see why they truly keep it ClassyAF.
Loco Patron Mexican Brewery & Kitchen
14950 N Northsight, Scottsdale, AZ 85260
Why should you venture out: From the splash pad and perfect outdoor area for the kiddos to a food menu full of tacos, pizzas, and salads. Not to mention the margs and beers from their in-house brewery! It has a little bit of everything. A perfect spot to spend a Saturday afternoon in North Scottsdale!
3411, 4425 N Saddlebag Trail #105, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
Why should you venture out: You are going to want to check out this brand new concept in the Entertainment District of Old Town Scottsdale. The South Beach decor will draw you in and their food and drink menu will keep you there. For probably longer than you expected. Try the Cubano. Just do it.

Why should you venture out: This is the third location from the Sip family and they continue to raise the bar.
