For today’s video review, we visited The Hash Kitchen. Located at The Shops at Gainey Village in Scottsdale. For those that aren’t familiar with Gainey Village, it is on Scottsdale Road just south of Doubletree Ranch Road on the east side. As we have told you many times before, we love feedback, and we love suggestions. You guys asked us to do another breakfast/brunch spot, so that is exactly what we are bringing you.
The Hash Kitchen is the first brunch concept of Maggiore Culinary Concepts in the city of Scottsdale. Described on their website as “a hip brunch environment with an innovative twist on brunch classics mixed with a lighter fare. The creative a.m. eatery will feature fresh, organic ingredients from local farms including Hickman’s Egg Ranch. Standout breakfast menu items include specialty hashes and eggs benedict, build-your-own hash (BYOH), frittatas, or scramble options, and an eclectic mix of decadent sweets like coconut and almond encrusted French toast, and lemon and ricotta pancakes. The lunch menu extends from creative sandwiches like the “Ultimate Cuban Panini” ($13) made with roasted pork loin, black forest ham, pickles, prosciutto, spicy cherry peppers pressed between ciabatta bread to salads and gourmet burgers.”
As you will see in the video review, we tried out their amazing brunch that included some out of this world glazed donuts. Delicious local chocolate milk. French Press coffee. Some tasty biscuits & gravy and a special item from their ever changing monthly menu were just a few of the items that we enjoyed. We also tackled their killer DIY Bloody Mary Bar. We probably could have done a full video review on just the bloody mary bar. Great mixes, infused vodkas and more items to DIY your Mary than we could count.
