For this week’s video review, we visited a great spot in Old Town Scottsdale called Wasted Grain. Located on the northeast corner of Stetson/5th and Drinkwater (guess I wasn’t exactly “dialed in” during the intro :). Wasted Grain is a staple of Old Town Scottsdale, with good food, great drink specials and what they dub “Scottsdale’s Longest Happy Hour”.
Wasted Grain also has a little something else up their sleeve – Live Music and Entertainment Wednesday – Sunday. How awesome is that? You can enjoy some food & drinks on their massive patio and then pop inside for a show or head upstairs with your dancing shoes on.
In the video review, we started off with some fresh bacon popcorn. Because, why not? It paired nicely with our cocktails from their Speakeasy Drink Menu. Then for appetizers; we tried the Drummettes and the Prime Rib Sliders. Both were delicious, and I am a sucker for some great drummettes. From there we dove into the entrees, and the hits kept coming. A personal favorite was the Mixed Grill Skewers. Super delicious and for dessert we strayed a little bit from the norm and tried the Green Tea shots. Fun fact: They are a little more than green tea, but they are highly recommended.
We hope that you enjoy the video review and try Wasted Grain for yourself. It is a great spot for happy hour, dinner, dancing, live music and with football gearing up an excellent spot to post up for the games. Just an FYI, they are the official home of The Seattle Seahawks and Michigan State Spartans. But we don’t hold that against them. Enjoy and order a Green Tea shot for us!
