For this week’s video review, we visited a brand new spot in North Scottsdale named Zen Culinary. Located just south of Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard in between Hayden Road and the 101. The moment you lay your eyes on the exterior, you will have a feeling of calmness. When you enter the restaurant, that calmness stays, however, it is also met with excitement. And boy oh boy, is that excitement warranted!
Zen Culinary specializes in authentic Asian fare as well as American cuisine using predominately locally sourced organic ingredients. With the goal of achieving a complete balance in flavors, spice, and textures. In our humble opinion, they succeed in meeting that goal. You can dine inside in either of their two dining rooms or unwind outside on their two serene garden patios. Looking to have a private party? They have a private room for just that. All of the dining areas embrace the classic four elements – earth, wind, water, and fire – to create an inviting, calm and as we mentioned exciting experience.
In the video review, we were spoiled so much that Chris hugged the Chef. We took a tour of the appetizers, the entrees and of course the very impressively creative cocktail menu. Please enjoy the video review and then visit Zen Culinary for an affordable lunch or stop in for an elegant dinner. No matter the time, you will leave in a state of zen!

  1. No address, no can go.

  2. Awesome appeal. A little on the “copied it” side from another established valley restaurant however, truth be told will be in the consistency of not only the food but what our valley feels is being a “foodie” that’s the “cocktail” Looking forward to giving her a whirl

  3. Great segment! Main takeaway: the peanut sauce! Interesting change up to ribs, they look like a must try when going. Although who cuts a rib with a knife!? Awesome descriptions per usual. Always appreciate the diverse ordering, gives the viewer the full perspective of what the restaurant has to offer. Thanks guys!
