Ahwatukee Golf Club has been the neighborhood course since it opened in 1973. John Bulla designed it: 6,713 yards and par 72, with desert edges and fairways lined with mature trees.
The club calls itself golfer-owned now. Alongside the course there are six indoor simulator bays, which are handy on a hot afternoon, and new range technology is on the way.
