Desert Sands is an executive-length par 65 in east Mesa, designed by Arthur Jack Snyder. It opened for play in 1969. It plays just over 4,000 yards from the back tees.
The practice area is all grass, with a long driving range, a chipping area with a bunker and a large putting green. The course is under new ownership.
