McDowell Mountain is an Arcis Golf club with public tee times. Randy Heckenkemper designed the 7,118-yard, par-72 course, which runs through the foothills of the McDowell Mountains.
In 2011, Heckenkemper oversaw a renovation that widened the corridors, added waste bunkers and expanded the tees. The course now has seven sets of tees.
