Curries Indian Cuisine and Bar Review: Bang Bang Chicken and Naan in Scottsdale

When we’re craving Indian food, Curries is one of our staples. It’s an Indian restaurant on Frank Lloyd Wright, near Shea, and we keep coming back.

I’m a creature of habit, so I almost always order the bang bang chicken. They offer five heat levels, and I usually go with a four because I like it spicy. Every dish comes with a good portion of nice, fluffy jasmine rice, and we always add garlic naan and jalapeño naan. Honestly, we seem to order the same thing every time, and it never lets us down.

I can’t say a whole lot about the rest of the menu, but the tikka masala is another good go-to, and some of their appetizers are worth trying too.

The indoor dining room is nice, there’s a little bar area, and there’s outdoor seating if the weather’s good. They also deliver through some of the delivery services, which is handy on nights we’d rather stay in. Most meals run about $15 to $20 a person, which is a solid value for the portions. I give Curries 4.8 out of 5 stars. If you love Indian food, it’s an easy favorite.
