The Talking Stick area sits along the Loop 101 Pima Freeway on the east side of Scottsdale, on Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community land. Talking Stick Resort, Salt River Fields, the Talking Stick Golf Club and the Arizona Boardwalk (home to OdySea Aquarium and Butterfly Wonderland) are all within a few minutes of each other, which makes it one of the easiest places in the Valley to plan a full family day.
We haven’t reviewed every restaurant on this list yet. We picked them using each restaurant’s own website and the district’s official directory, and on November 3, 2026 we confirmed that each one is open and posting current hours. Hours and menus change, so check the restaurant’s site before you go.
Orange Sky is the resort’s signature dinner restaurant, with 360-degree views over the Valley. The menu is built around the four elements, earth, water, air and fire, and around food sovereignty: local, sustainable and culturally rooted ingredients. Chef de Cuisine Martin Yepez, originally from Sonora, has been with the resort since 2010. It’s open from 5pm Tuesday through Saturday and closed on Sundays and Mondays.

A Creole, New Orleans-style seafood spot inside the resort, built around a 19-seat seafood counter. Expect raw oysters, steamers and Cajun-style boils, made to order at the spice level you choose (from 1 to 10). It’s open from 11am daily, until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
